Carpool Agreement
(Revise this sample carpool agreement as needed to suit your carpool.)
The members of this carpool agree to the following terms:
Meeting Place

Be On Time!
- The carpool will not wait more than _______ minutes for late arrivals in the morning and _______minutes for late arrivals in the evening.
- If you know you will be unable to carpool on a particular day, please notify the designated driver for that day as soon as possible. Please notify fellow carpoolers as soon as possible regarding future vacation and holiday plans.
Music and Radio

Errands
No stops for errands will be made en route without prior consent from all carpool members. The carpool vehicle should be fully fueled before departure.
Vehicle Maintenance and Safety
The owner of the carpool vehicle must ensure that the vehicle is clean, maintained, insured, and fueled up for the drive. All carpoolers must wear seatbelts.
Cost Sharing
______We will share the driving equally, so nobody needs to pay anybody else. We all save!
______Some people will be driving more than others, so each driver/car owner will be reimbursed daily/weekly/monthly by the other riders at the following rate: # of round-trip miles multiplied by the per-mile cost to drive and maintain a car, divided by the number of carpool riders.*
